Golf apps
Little apps for the game I love
These are small apps I write for my friends, my family, and the courses I play. Anyone can browse each app's landing page, and signing in lets you start your own. They're all in various states of getting ready for next season. Here's the list.
What's in it
- Fred X Cup: a FedEx-Cup-style season points cup, named after my late friend Fred, with standings and a playoff that crowns a champion. Sign in and start your own cup for your group. fred-x-cup-web.golfergeek.com
- Daily Practice-Green Course: turn a putting or chipping green into a 9- or 18-hole event with a leaderboard. Anyone can start one with friends, and a golf course can run its own official one. practice-green-course-web.golfergeek.com
- Course Learning Day: a learning morning on a short par-3 course, set up and run by the golf course, with nine stations, each with a lead and a skill, and players rotating about every 15 minutes. course-learning-day-web.golfergeek.com
- Golf Wispr (GolfWhisperer): a voice-first golf companion for iPhone and Apple Watch for rounds, bags, drills, and practice. On hold for now
- Card Fun: not golf, but a private family game table with Skip-Bo-style play, Bar Cribbage, and 21. card-fun-family.vercel.app
